The content is till top-secret, but currently with a small team we're working hard to bring out the first edition of this new magazine. Since everything is top-secret, that's all I can say for now :) But be sure to check back on February 2011!

Past Projects

Music Video (2006)

This is the original version of my very first music video, directed by Daniel Langer and co-directed by me, that the artist Fruehbel used for their song "Leave" published in Denmark on XING Records. Later the song became #1 on the LA County club charts. They published a remix of the song, with another music video though as the new song features more of a hard-beat.

Credits: Daniel Langer (Director) and Salvatore Benintende (Director and video editing), Jan Kus (Camera #1), Norma Yvonne Sappelt (Screenplay), Kai Uhlemeyer (Director of Photography, Camera #2, Screenplay), Tim Schneider (Screenplay). The video was registered in Cologne, using a Panasonic DVX100 and a Canon XL1. Video editing was done using Final Cut Pro.
The video has been created with a limited budget of 150 Euro.

Documentary - Die Rote Hand(2006)

This is the first documentary I worked on. It is about a smoker who lost both of his legs and had several other problems caused by his addiction to cigarettes. Still he would refuse to quit smoking. I did the interviews and video editing on this documentary.

Dynamic Information Design: Bubbles Concept (2005)

This project was a collaboration between the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne and the Cologne International School of Design in Cologne. The purpose of the project was, to design (a) system(s), to deal with continuos and responsive digital communication. The challenge was to create such a system that would encode news in a different way, to think and focus on a specific purpose of a device, rather than generalizing it too much. Since this device could roll out in 2010 or later, we had to open up our minds for new technologies which may not yet be available.
